Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Program
We offer a unique way to support you in meeting your childrens’ needs, helping them grow, and giving them all that you can.
A parenting program that benefits both parent and child
As a practice, our approach is to serve your family unit, viewing your family itself as the client. It is our belief that providing families with holistic, wrap-around support leads to healthier, happier families. We can also appreciate the difficulties of parenting, particularly during this time, and how overwhelming it must be to feel like you need to do it all.
This is why we have chosen to offer the Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program - a way for you to learn about meeting your child’s emotional needs, while still attending to your own, that alleviates the pressure of being a “perfect parent.”

The benefits of our COSP parenting program
COSP provides you with a path to develop healthy, secure attachment between your children you, their parents / caregivers. Based on collective and extensive professional experience and research, we believe that secure attachment plays a very important role in children growing up to become well-adjusted, empathetic adults, which sets them up for a lifetime of success.
Some of the founding principles that underlie the Circle of Security models of intervention include:
- Learning and therapeutic change occur from within a secure base relationship.
- Lasting change in the attachment relationship comes from caregivers’ developing specific relationship capacities, rather than learning techniques to manage behaviour.
- All caregivers want what is best for their children.
How we offer our COSP parenting program
Our parenting program is facilitated by Vanessa Fahie and is provided in an online platform. A 60 minute Intake Session is necessary for us to understand the challenges that your family members may be facing, and to explore related therapy topics with you individually.
We offer COSP groups throughout the year. During times when groups are not offered, private individual or couples programs are offered and can be booked at a Coffee and Chat.
